Craftsman’s son Guccio Gucci founded the House of Gucci as a saddlery shop in Florence in 1906. In 1938 Guccio Gucci opened their first retail shop on the Via Condotti in Rome. The first Gucci boutique in Macau was opened at Wynn Hotel and Caino retail esplanade.

The Mall at Macau’s Studio City - a shopping center component of the US$2.5 billion Macao Studio City project, has revealed a confirmed list of 23 luxury brand tenants on the 27th August. Each of which has committed to opening flagship stores at "The Mall", which is destined to become Asia's most luxurious shopping center.

The 920,000 square foot (85,000 square meter) Mall at Studio City will boast about 140 stores from A. Lange & Sohne, Alfred Dunhill, Berluti, Bulgari, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Cartier, Chopard, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, Franck Muller, Gucci, Miu Miu, Montblanc, Omega, Piaget, Prada, Roger Vivier, Tod's, Van Cleef and Arpels, Versace and other brands, in one of the biggest concentrations of high-end retailers strip, which scheduled to open in 2011.

"The Mall at Studio City will be the ultimate luxury shopping center in Asia. In one venue we have brought together all of the luxury brands in flagship formats only seen in the fashion high streets of Hong Kong, Paris, New York, Milan and Tokyo," said Morgan Parker, president, Taubman Asia.

The Macau Studio City will features theatre, retail, gaming, entertainment and world-class hotels (Ritz Carlton, Tangs Hotel and others) situated at Cotai Strip in Macau. The project is expect to complete in 2011.

The Venetian held a soft opening of the 211,000 square feet mall - "Shoppes at Four Seasons" on the 25th July, with the official opening day will be held in a month’s time with more than 180 luxury high end brands from around the world, including limited edition items which have never been shown in Asia. The mall can be accessed from The Grand Canal Shopping Center.

Guests who spend MOP $1,000,000 or above at The Shoppes at Four Seasons in a single day (from July 25, 2008 to August 27, 2008) will be eligible to the “One in a Million Rewards”. Rewards include Palazzo Suite at the Venetian Hotel, abalone dinner, spa treatment and more. The MGM Grand Macau casino, partnership between US company MGM Mirage and Pansy Ho, daughter of Macau gaming magnate Stanley Ho is due to open on December 18 following an investment in the project of US$1.25 billion. Under a subconcession approved by the Macau government, MGM Macau is owned and operated through a 50/50 partnership between MGM Mirage and Pansy Ho Chiu-king. This casino will have 385 gaming tables, 890 slot machines and 16 “high roller” rooms. The new casino’s building will include a 600-room hotel located next to the river. It has 35 floors and will employ 6,000 people.

Hermès、Puiforcat 和 Saint-Louis 三大品牌同時於五十八平方米的店鋪裡展示出優質的生活藝術。 店內裝潢以天然燈光營造出獨特的光影效果, 增添室內透視感及迷人氣氛。

Hermès - 賓客可選購一系列的陶瓷、餐桌裝飾及水晶系列包括 Toucans、La Table Hermès、Balcon du Guadalquivir、Cheval d’Orient 及 Attelage 扁平器皿。 此外，各種 Hermès 的紡織品亦會於此有售。

Puiforcat - 享負盛名的 Puiforcat 專為皇帝、領袖及講究生活品味等顯赫人士制造銀器, 其銀器之精美以超凡質素見稱。 Puiforcat 秉承18世紀的傳統銀器手制技術, 是唯一以全人手制作的銀器生產商。 Puiforcat 於澳門美高梅金殿內展售出一系列精致的純銀制品及不鏽鋼器皿。 由糖匙至餐刀, 以及各種餐具應有盡有, 其中包括 Champagne 系列、Flatwere–Guethary 不鏽鋼系列及 Jean E. Puforcat’s Playing Cards Set 家庭系列。

Saint-Louis - 追溯至18世紀法國及德國的傳統水晶藝術, Saint-Louis 的水晶工藝採用歷久常新的方法制作出卓爾不凡的玻璃器皿、花瓶、玻璃瓶、燭台及水晶燈。 他們的工藝品讓餐室, 睡房及宴會廳生色不少。 Saint-Louis 的 Bubbles 系列、Classique 水晶燈、Maharadja 水晶燈、Flamboyance 燈飾及水晶燈, 以及 Excess 系列將於澳門美高梅金殿裡有售。

Chihuly - 美國著名藝術家 Dale Chihuly 於澳門美高梅金殿藝術館內展出他的作品。 在這裡賓客可購買得到 Chihuly 制作室版本的玻璃雕塑及原著限量版藝術品、書本、記事卡和輯錄了Chihuly 作品的數碼影碟。 美術館內的裝潢是由 Chihuly 本人親自設計, 讓賓客近距離體驗他的藝術意念。
